Court packing, and the overall subversion of our courts

Democrats have accused Republicans of packing the court. (Presumably, they mean The Supreme Court Of The United States [SCOTUS].) This is of course false. Preserving the structure of SCOTUS,  which it had for the last 150 years, and appointing judges as presidents have done for the same time period, do not constitute court packing. Court packing refers to the appointment of judges, to significantly increase the number of judges on SCOTUS, to vote on issues, consistent with a particular political view. Besides, Republicans do not appoint judges to interpret laws in ways that advance their political agenda. Republicans appoint judges to interpret laws, to ensure the laws are consistent with the constitution.

It is a shame we see Democrats politicizing the courts (as they politicize just about everything else) and we do nothing about it. Politicizing is how the Left undermine and corrupt institutions, and Republicans/Americans should never tolerate it, because it is a threat to our democracy. There should be laws or rules, prohibiting judges from interpreting laws in ways that primarily advance a political agenda. It is one thing to allow an abuse here and there, but judges systemically ruling in manners which show them engaging in political activism, should never be allowed.

Remember, subversion is an important next generation warfare tactic. You do so primarily through the politicization of institutions. You only politicize non-political institutions, if you mean to undermine them, and bend them to your political view, outside democratic means. This virtually never serves the interest of ordinary American citizens, and should therefore never be allowed.

So many of our institutions are being undermined by the Left, to strip America of its democracy. We are long overdue to develop and put in place, countermeasures to these underhanded tactics by Democrats.
