Affirmative action is one of the great Machiavellian constructs of the Left. It undercuts meritocracy (which is the source of American exceptionalism) while at the same time, undermines the confidence of American Blacks - many of whom are left believing that they cannot achieve things on their own. The sinister 'brilliance' of affirmative action, is that it doesn't improve things for anyone it purports to help - least of all, Blacks. It is however very beneficial for the Left, as it ensures racial division in America, and allows the Left to make the claim of systemic racism.

The Left spout the ‘virtues’ of affirmative action, insisting that it is the only way Blacks and several other minorities can get a leg up in life in America. The Left however know affirmative action is not going to work, as the root cause of Black underachievement is the breakup of the nuclear family – which the Left have been engineering across all demographics (but particularly in the Black community), for decades. So the Left are actually sabotaging Black achievement and quality of life, even as they promote solutions for them they know will never work, and pretend they are champions of Blacks and all minorities. (It is quite a scam.)

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), is affirmative action on steroids. It is meant to decimate American meritocracy, and by extension, American exceptionalism, in all facets of our society. It is also meant to work hand in hand with Critical Race Theory, to divide Americans by race, sexual orientation and other means, and have us viciously fighting one another. It is also supposed to provide political cover for the radical changes the Left want to make to American society.

America is in the middle of a cultural war being waged by institutions controlled by the Left, including the education sector, Hollywood, the music industry, big tech, and many other multinational corporations. These forces mean to decimate our values and way of life, and they are attacking our children the most, because our children are their most vulnerable target, and the Left's efforts against our children can lead to the greatest impact on society. My suggestion to America First groups, is that they sue affirmative action and DEI programs all over the country, pointing to their records of failure at achieving their goals, and how they have even made things worse. Show how Black Americans from the Caribbean and Africa, are among the top achievers in America, and that the top achievers in America, are Asian minorities. Make the point that minority status is not what is holding Black Americans back, it is largely the absence of families with fathers in their communities. State that if the government seriously wants to improve the lives of Black Americans, it should foster the formation of families – not undertake social engineering programs like affirmative action and DEI, which do not work. Also point out that affirmative action and DEI, violate anti-discrimination laws – as overachievers have to be discriminated against by race, in order to achieve the Left's brand of ‘equity’.

Thomas Sowell in this video, talks about traditional justice vs. cosmic justice. Traditional justice is consistent with natural law, and hence practically works to create a level playing field, and produces actors that have at least minimally acceptable levels of qualifications. Cosmic justice or equity, lowers the standards for candidates, resulting in a large pool of unqualified candidates, which can be catastrophic in critical disciplines like medicine, engineering, product safety, etc.

Cosmic justice contends that different groups of people, have different levels of disadvantages, and these levels of disadvantages must be evened out, in order to get a level playing field. Taken to its logical conclusion, in order to achieve cosmic justice of the highest order, the circumstances and disadvantages of each individual has to be addressed - which is simply not practical. (Remember, every group and individual, as well as his/her forebears, since the beginning of time, has suffered injustices and disadvantages. That is the nature of life. Trying to ‘fix’ this natural condition, will simply result in new injustices and disadvantages forming, as you try to address the old and current ones.)
