Beyond my suggestion that the Post Office should implement minimal security, by allowing the sections of it that are handling ballots, be surveilled, etc.: I believe it would also be prudent that the Post Office be pushed to implement other security measures, like hiring private security, to guard against the tampering and mishandling of ballots, at all points where ballots are handled. (This includes drivers who pick up and distribute or deliver ballots.)

I also believe undercover federal agents should be ferreting out voter harvesting and other voter fraud schemes, as well as trying to bring them down on federal charges.

Blanket mass mail-in and other voting procedures with crowdsource surveillance and other security measures, to significantly increase the chance we have a free and fair election.
